That’s not the rom-com classic though, the rom-com classic is Socha Na Tha which has aged very very well, and is really like no other movie since, still just a perfect little film. Oh, and also added was Chalte Chalte, a Shahrukh film that has aged very well and I can unreservedly recommend. You must watch it if you care at all about good cinema. It has two of the longest uncut tracking shots ever put on film, a cast 81 newcomers, and was made on a shoestring budget. On the small TV screen it may not be as powerful, but it is still work watching. Not greater than Sholay, but then I’ve never seen that in theaters. Greater than Casablanca, greater Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Angamaly Diaries is the best film I have ever seen in theaters. I just did this update like a week ago, but there was a movie that was added this time that forced me to update the list again ASAP. But hopefully I make up for that with the descriptions I give them. Time for a Netflix update! Which I only do once a month or so, so it’s not up to the minute accurate.
